Armond Cohen, drums

Armond heard Chick Corea’s Light as a Feather as a high school freshman and has never been the same. He played in high school and college jazz ensembles, then took 25 years off to start a career and raise a couple of kids, while listening to most of the ECM catalogue. His drum teacher Scott Goulding helped bring him out of musical hibernation in 2004, and he began playing with better and better musicians, and has now reached his peak with Fenno Street Jazz and is grateful to be part of this group.
